Ngā Mātāpono Values

Totara Grove School's guiding values – Ngᾱ Mᾱtᾱpono were developed in consultation with the staff, students, whᾱnau and the wider community. These values also underpin our school's strategic goals.

At Totara Grove School competencies that respect and honour our Ngᾱ Mᾱtᾱpono Ako school values are modelled, learnt and reflected upon.  Staff and whᾱnau together have high expectations of student success and citizenship.  Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and behaviour, and to behave in ways that respect and promote our Ngᾱ Mᾱtᾱpono Ako school values.
